Federación Colombiana de Municipios together with Consorcio Sonitt Quipux, have made available to citizens a renewed platform for the Integrated System of Information on Fines and Penalties for Traffic Violations: www.fcm.org.co/simit

The FCM is a private, non-profit union institution that represents the municipalities of Colombia and has the objective of making possible the integral development of the country from the regions and empowering the municipalities to generate wellbeing for their communities.

On the other hand, Quipux seeks to contribute to improve the quality of life of citizens through digital adoption.

Both purposes joined forces to offer citizens a friendly, easy and safe way to consult and pay traffic tickets, fines and payment agreements from anywhere in the country, through the platform.

The project has different functionalities such as:

• A national toll-free hotline
• Videotutorials and user guides
• Updated map with payment points
• Projection of fines
• Virtual assistant
• Consultation of history, clearance, statement of account and road courses
